Mercury-in-steel thermometers provided with an adjustable connector and a drilled bar-stock threaded
well as shown above is ideally suited for use in Power plants for use on steam and water services.

ASME PTC19.3 gives a basis for calculating the safe immersion length of thermowells installed on steam & water services. Given the process velocities, our design engineers can arrive at the safe design of thermowell.

The complete assembly can be supplied in SS316 material grade if specified.

Thermowells manufactured as per design shown above are avilable in standard AISI 300 series stainless steel grades such as SS304, SS316 or SS321.

The assembly shown above is that of a mercury-in-steel temperature gauge with thermowell. Bi-metal or Gas filled gauges can also be supplied if specified.
