Bi-metallic, Mercury or Gas filled thermometers provided with an adjsutable connector and drilled bar-stock flanged well as shown above are used in applications which demand mechanical stength for thermowell & at the same time, faster response to change in process temperature.

The complete assembly can be supplied in SS316 material grade to resist atmospheric corrosion.

Thermowells are available in standard AISI 300 Series stainless steel grades or AISI400 Series ferritic grades as well as in exotic materials like Incoloy 800, Inconel 600, Monel 400 or Hastelloy alloys B and C, and flanges in ASTM grades A105, A182 and in sizes 3/4" to 2" (DN 20 to DN 50).

The assembly shown above is that of a Bi-metallic temperature gauge with thermowell. Mercury or Gas filled gauges can also be supplied if specified.
